Trustees have approved an exclusive option to sell the land to Schnicke, per an Aug. 17 proposal from Tom Hansen, land acquisition manager for The Fischer Group.

Loveland-based Schnicke Development Group plans to bring 150 build-to-rent townhomes to Batavia Township in a first-of-its-kind project for the company.  The community will be called Townes of Thirty Two, and the homes will be constructed by national homebuilder D.R. Horton.

The 44-home community in Butler Township is the first of multiple planned projects in the region.

A $34.5 million residential development is underway in Batavia Township, with the first set of townhomes currently under construction.

CLAYTON — City council held a workshop session June 20 with Schnicke Development Group to discuss the potential development of 183.1 acres near State Route 48 and Sweet Potato Ridge Road.

Schnicke Development Group has added a vice president of land development as it looks to widen its reach in the region.

One residential development will include luxury, high-end homes, while the other will include 400 affordably priced homes.
